Andrew Borkowski
“DruDaddy” keyboards, vocals
Andrew’s background as a stage actor comes to the fore when he launches into tunes by Randy Newman, Muddy Waters, or Louis Jordan, taking to new levels Tom Waits’s advice to “play like your hair’s on fire.” A good Polish boy, his parents forced him to study classical piano in order to entertain visiting relatives with Chopin’s Nocturnes. He says he turned to the blues to get even.
